Rock Bridge runner King will compete at Missouri

2011
Indoor: Did not compete. Outdoor: Did not compete.

2010:
Indoor: Ran primarily in the 3,000m and 5,000m runs throughout the season and ran in both events at the Big 12 Championships where he posted season-best marks in both events ... Ran a time of 8:36.87 in the 3,000m run and followed that with an 11th-place finish in the 5,000m run after clocking in at 14:25.35 ... Ran in the 5,000m run at the Notre Dame Meyo Invitational and clocked a time of 15:23.98 ... Ran in the MU-KU Border Dual, clocking a 3,000m time of 8;37.34 ... Those races were his only competitions of the season. Outdoor: Ran the program's seventh-best time in the 10,000m run at 29:42.39 at the Stanford Invitational, becoming only the seventh Tiger to break the 30-minute barrier in the event ... The time of 29:42.39 was the more than a minute and half better than his personal-best entering the 2010 season ... That time also qualified him for the NCAA Championship First Round where he ran a time of 31:39.75 in considerably hot conditions ... Ran for the Tigers in the 10,000m run at the Big 12 Championships and clocked in at 31:13.31 to place 19th overall ... Ran in the 5K run at the Oregon Pepsi Invitational where he clocked in at 14:17.35, earning fifth place ... Earned Academic All-Big 12 honors.

2009:
Outdoor: Finished his sophomore campaign with an All-Big 12 performance after finishing 6th in the 10000 meters ( 31:19.39) at the 2009 Big 12 Outdoor Championship. Indoor: Set personal best at the Big12-SEC Challenge when he paced fourth in the 5000 meters in a time of 14:30.98. Set a personal best of 8:21.94 in winning his heat of the 3000 meter run at the Iowa State Cyclone Classic.

2008:
Cross Country:Was a top five performer for the Tigers in four races, highlighted by a 32nd place at Big 12 Championships. Outdoor: Placed 19th at the Big 12 Championships at 10,000 meters (33:34.31) ... ran an inspired 3000-meter race in the Jefferson Cup dual at Virginia, taking charge to help Mizzou to a 1-3 finish in the event, to seize the team victory. Indoor: Ran twice for the Tigers, placing fourth at the Missouri Invite at 3000 meters with a 8:44.66 and winning the Missouri All-Comers Mile in 4:23.34.

2007:
Cross Country: Ran in five races during the 2007 season highlighted by a 10th place finish at the Bradley Classic ... Led the freshman to a third place finish at the Vanderbilt Commodore Classic by finishing 10th overall ... Also made an appearance at the Roy Griak Classic and finished 63rd at Big 12's ... Also ran at the Midwest Regional where he was the seventh Tiger finisher.

High School:
Earned All-State honors with a third-place finish at the 2006 MSHSAA Class 4 Cross Country Championships ... finished thirty-third at the Midwest Footlocker Championships in 2006 ... Member of National Honors Society ... Graduated with a 3.8 GPA ... prep bests: 1600m, 4:25; 3200m, 9:22 ... high school coach - Neal Blackburn.
