Indoor: Competed in the shot put at nearly every meet for the Tigers in 2011 and posted a season-best mark of 16.04m at the MU-KU Border Dual, placing him fifth overall ... Competed at the Big 12 Indoor Championships as well. Outdoor: Threw a season-best mark of 15.89m at the Indiana Invitational, finishing fifth overall ... Competed at the Big 12 Championships as well, tossing 14.67m, placing 14th overall, closing his season. 2010:
Outdoor:Competed in the shot put at the Big 12 Championships and turned in a throw 15.03m (49-3 ¾) ... Turned in a season-best throw of 15.66m (51-4 ½) at the Missouri Relays and earned second overall with that throw ... Threw 15.13m (49-7 ¾) at the Arkansas Twilight and 14.89m (48-10 ¾) at the Tom Botts Invitational.

2009:
Indoor: Set a pair of personal-best marks during the indoor season, highlighted by a shot put mark of 16.53m (54-2 ¾) at the Big 12/Mountain West Challenge in Lincoln, Neb. ... Set a weight throw personal-best toss of 14.29m (46-10 ¾) at the MU-KU dual meet in Lawrence. Outdoor: Set an outdoor personal-best shot put mark of 15.78m (51-9 ¼) at the Jefferson Cup dual meet with Virginia. 2008:
Outdoor: Redshirt season ... had season bests of 49-1¾ (14.98m) in the shot put, 134-1 (40.88m) in the discus, and 130-4 (39.74m) with the hammer. Indoor: Placed 13th at the Big 12 Indoor Championships with the shot ... threw PR with the shot of 51-5½ (15.68m) in finishing second at the MU All-Comers ... also threw PR in the weight throw at the MU All-Comers with 44-5¾ (13.54m) toss.

High School:
Four-time MSHSAA Class 1 Champion, winning shot put titles in 2005, 2006, and 2007 and a discus state title in 2005 ... eight-time conference champion ... five-time All- State performer for North Harrison High School in northwest Missouri ... high school coach - Becky Thomas.
