Ed Stewart arrived in Columbia in 2014?? after a tremendous career at Central Methodist University in Fayette, Mo., where he was two-time NAIA National Champion in the 60m hurdles (2010-11), a two-time NAIA All-American in the 110m hurdles (2010-11), and broke the NAIA Indoor Championships meet record in the 60m hurdles (7.89, 2011). He graduated with five CMU indoor school records and five outdoor records, after only two years with the Eagles, having moved to Fayette in 2009. Now at Mizzou, Ed works primarily with the hurdlers, helping guide Ayo Adewole and Alyssa Felton to the 2015 NCA Championships West Preliminary Round, as well as All-Time Top Ten marks in the indoor and outdoor hurdle events from Adewole, Felton, and Valerie Thames.
