After holding a Graduate Assistant position for a year and a half Kayln Sticher takes on a new role as Assistant Director of Strength and Conditioning under the direction of Pat Ivey and the Athletic Performance staff at the University of Missouri. She completed her Master's Degree in Positive Coaching in December 2013. She is primarily responsible for the design and implementation of strength and conditioning programs for the Missouri Women's Tennis team and Men's and Women's Track & Field teams.
Kayln's previous experiences include two and half years as a student assistant Strength and Conditioning coach at Northern Arizona University where she was in charge of the design and implementation of strength and conditioning programs for Women's Swimming and Diving as well as Men's and Women's Tennis. She also assisted with football, men's and women's basketball, volleyball, and soccer.
In the summer of 2011 she interned at Baylor University where she assisted the Athletic Performance staff with all facets of their program.
As an undergraduate Kayln started out at Black Hills State University, where she was a two year letter winner under head Coach Mark Nore and the women's basketball team. While pursuing a degree in health and wellness Kayln was also a student athletic trainer. Wanting to pursue athletic training Kayln decided to transfer to Northern Arizona University where she was looking to obtain a dual degree in Exercise Science and Athletic Training. Upon her transfer and being a member of the Northern Arizona University (NAU) women's basketball team she chose to work towards her degree in Exercise Science as well as pursue a career in Strength and Conditioning.
Kayln is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association as well as Strength and Conditioning Coach Certified through the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association; she received her degree in Exercise Science as well as graduated with the highest honor, Summa Cum Laude, in December 2011 from NAU. She is a native of Colorado and the daughter of Ross and Kim Sticher.
