2014 NCAA CHAMPIONSHIP TOP 10 FINISHER
SENIOR YEAR (2014-15)
Concluded his senior season with two individual tournament wins, as well as two Top 10 finishes… took 17th place at the SEC Championship, shooting 70-68-71 for a score of 209… shot eight rounds under par for the 2014-2015 season… never finished outside of the top 25 in postseason play… ad a scoring average among the Top 3 on the team every season he played.
JUNIOR YEAR (2013-14)
Earned All-America honors with a ninth-place finish at the NCAA Championships in Hutchinson, Kan., shooting 70-69-68 to finish three-under-par ... Was tops on the team with that tie for ninth at Prairie Dunes Country Club ... Was outstanding throughout the postseason, finishing 14th at the NCAA Columbia Regional and 19th at the SEC Championships ... Saw his scoring average drop to 69.7 in postseason play, with five of nine rounds finishing under-par ... Was second at the season-opening Turning Stone Intercollegiate with rounds of 68-70-70 ... Had seven Top 20 finishes overall and shot a season-low 67 at Shoal Creek in the opening round ... Was 12th at the Bandon Dunes Championship to help MU to its third team title of his junior season.
SOPHOMORE YEAR (2012-13)
Made starts in all 12 events for Missouri as a sophomore and ranked third on the team in scoring average (73.6), just behind Jace Long (71.8) and Emilio Cuartero (72.2) ... Had seven Top 25 finishes, including an outstanding 15th-place finish in his first NCAA Regional event in Columbus, Ohio ... Finished second among Tiger scorers shooting 70-75-74 to finish +6 at the event ... Top finish came at the Golfweek Conference Challenge, leading the Tigers to a team title ... Finished sixth overall in that tournament ... Low round was a 67 at the Washington State Snowman Getaway.
FRESHMAN YEAR (2011-12)
Played in nine events as a freshman and enjoyed his first career victory at the Columbia Orthopedic Group Mizzou Intercollegiate where he shot 67-70-71 ... The 5-under-par 67 was the lowest round of his rookie campaign and the 54-hole score of 208 was also his top score ... Finished seventh at his first career event, the Notre Dame Gridiron Classic ... Also finished among the Top Five at The Farms Invitational in Rancho Santa Fe, Calif., with rounds of 73-77-72.
HIGH SCHOOL
Was named the 2011 Kansas City Metro Player of the Year and was an all-state selection each of his four seasons ... Won a pair of Missouri State Championships in 2009 and 2011 ... Tied the Missouri Class 3 state record for lowest round (66) and lowest 36-hole score (139) ... Tied the record of former Tiger Kyle Marcolla ... 2011 Kenneth Smith Award winner ... Was a 2011 Kansas City Scholar-Athlete award winner ... Named to the all-conference, all-district, all-Northland and all-metro squads each of his four seasons at Kearney High School ... Played for Mike Fallein ... Also played basketball and was an all-district pick on the hardwood as a senior.
