2016-17 (FRESHMAN):
- Averaged 2.4 points and 1.7 rebounds per game across 11 game appearances while providing depth in Mizzou's front court.
- Sidelined for the remainder of the 2016-17 season after suffering a knee injury vs. LSU (Jan. 4).
- Season-high minutes vs. No. 20 Arizona (Dec. 10) to that point in the season, playing 15 minutes off the bench with five points and two rebounds.
- Seven points (3-of-4 FG, 1-of-3 FT) in his collegiate debut vs. Alabama A&M (Nov. 13), playing 13 minutes off the bench.
VAN BUREN HIGH SCHOOL:
- Averaged 19.2 points and 9.9 rebounds per game for Van Buren High School and head coach Randy Loyd as a senior in 2015-16.
- Broke Van Buren's career scoring record halfway through his senior season, reaching 1,359 points and surpassing a 35-year old record.
- Set career marks at Van Buren in several categories, including points (1,559), rebounds (865), blocks (163) and double-doubles (36).
- Led the Pointers to back-to-back Arkansas Class 7A State Championship semifinal appearances, as well as consecutive outright conference championships.
- Earned Arkansas Player of the Year Recognition from the Southwest Times following his standout senior campaign.
- Posted marks of 18.1 points and 7.6 rebounds per game as a junior, powering the Pointers to their first of consecutive state semifinals.
- Showed expert shooting efficiency for a big man during his 2015 season with the Arkansas Wings of the Nike EYBL, hitting on 46.7-percent of his shots from the floor.
- Also recorded 4.1 rebounds and a team-best 1.1 blocks per game for the Wings in 2015.
PERSONAL:
- Grew up focusing on baseball, but switched to basketball exclusively heading into high school as a 6-7 freshman-to-be.
- Enjoyed the connection he made with the Mizzou coaching staff during the recruiting process.
