Stedman Allen is in his first season as a graduate assistant for the Mizzou men's basketball program.
Allen comes to Columbia after serving as the top assistant at Allen Community College for two seasons. His major emphasis was on recruitment of players, but also included player development, player relations, film breakdown and game preparation.
In 2018-19, Allen served as an assistant coach at Pensacola State College while he complete his Master's degree in Sports Management in Education. He was named as one of the Top Junior College Assistant Coaches in the Southeast.
During the 2016-17 season, Allen played professionally in Zamora, Spain in the Silver League. Besides playing professionally, Allen was an assistant coach for Riverdale County High School Boy's JV Basketball team.
Allen played collegiately at Wagner College and Angelo State. He earned his undergraduate degree from Angelo State in 2016 in Business Administration.
Allen is the Founder and CEO of Young, Humble, Beast LTD. He formed the nonprofit to help student-athletes in the inner-city excel in basketball through high level training camps, mentoring services and character development. Allen is a native of Bronx, N.Y.
