HIGH SCHOOL
All-conference and all-area selection as a junior in 2009 and senior in 2010 for Mascoutah High School ... played three seasons for head coach Terry Moeller and one season for head coach Scott Battas at Mascoutah ... helped lead team to three berths in Illinois' State Championship playoffs from 2008-10 ... allowed just two sacks in 11 games as a senior at offensive tackle, also making 67 tackles and 5.0 sacks at defensive end ... racked up 60 tackles and 3.0 sacks as a junior while starting all 10 games at offensive tackle.
