2018 SEASON
Special teams standout who made his first career catch at South Carolina (10/6), coming in as a tight end and catching a 21-yard strike from Drew Lock to set Mizzou up inside the five yard line … Played in five games this season.
2017 SEASON
Saw action in 11 games, and was an important contributor on special teams units, as well as a reserve on offense ... Was part of MU’s record-setting offense which led the SEC (ranking eighth nationally) in total offense for the second-straight season ... The offensive line led the nation in fewest tackles for loss allowed for the second-straight season (2.85), and also led the SEC in fewest sacks allowed (1.0 per game - fifth nationally), while the Tiger offense also led the SEC in passing efficiency (fourth nationally), and scoring offense (14th in NCAA).
2016 SEASON
Played in nine games, starting all nine in which he appeared at the center position, before being slowed by an ankle injury late in the season … Part of an offensive line that was the nation’s most improved group despite boasting just three career starts as a unit heading into the season … The group finished first nationally in tackles for loss allowed (2.92), the lowest in the nation for any team since at least 2005, a remarkable note considering Mizzou ranked 15th nationally in plays … Offensive line group also led the SEC in sacks allowed (16th nationally) and paved the way for a Mizzou offense that led the SEC and ranked 15th nationally (500.5 yards per game and 205.1 on the ground).
2015 SEASON
Played four games for the Tigers in 2015, primarily serving as the back-up to team captain Evan Boehm at the center position … Saw most of his action on special teams.
HIGH SCHOOL
Part of three consecutive Class 2 Missouri state championship teams at Lamar High School in 2011, 2012 and 2013… named Missouri Coaches’ Association Class 2 Defensive Player of the Year following an outstanding senior campaign in 2013… claimed an individual state championship as a junior in the discus.
PERSONAL
Son of Noelle Bailey… Has a twin brother, Benton, who plays football at Southern Illinois … Says Mizzou is the only school he ever considered growing up.
