2023 (Junior): Abrams-Draine garnered First-Team All-Southeastern Conference recognition from the Associated Press and Coaches, as well as second-team All-America honors from the AP, CBS Sports/247 Sports and Walter Camp … leads the SEC and ranks fifth in the nation in passes defended (1.3 per game) … his career-best total of four interceptions ranks third in the SEC … became the first Tiger to log an interception in three consecutive games (Sept. 16-30) since Aarion Penton in 2016 … racked up a team-leading seven tackles, including one for loss, along with an interception and pass breakup in a neutral-site victory over Memphis (Sept. 23) … surpassed the century mark for career tackles with his performance vs. Memphis … honored by the Associated Press as a unanimous Midseason All-American selection … named one of 15 semifinalists for the Jim Thorpe Award, honoring the nation’s top defensive back … listed on the watchlist for the Bronko Nagurski Trophy and Chuck Bednarik Award, both of which honor the top defensive player in college football … selected to participate in the Senior Bowl.Â
2022 (Sophomore): Started in 12 games at cornerback and made several appearances as a return specialist on kick returns … finished the season with 48 total tackles, 31 solo … his 14 pass-breakups were second-most in the SEC behind Kool-Aid McKinstry and tied for ninth in the country … recorded 5+ tackles in four games this season … registered four total tackles and two pass-breakups in the Tigers win over LA Tech (Sept. 1) … recorded four tackles and a pass-breakup against Abilene Christian (Sept. 17) … had two tackles and two pass-breakups against Georgia (Oct. 1) … recorded five tackles and three pass-breakups against Vanderbilt (Oct. 22) … his six tackles and two pass-breakups against New Mexico State (Nov. 19) led the team in both categories … had eight tackles and a pass-breakup in the bowl game against Wake Forest (Dec. 23).
2021 (Redshirt Freshman): Transitioned to defensive back and played in all 13 games with 10 starts … made three interceptions while breaking up a team-leading seven passes … had 484 yards from kick returns, with a 100-yard return for a touchdown against Tennessee … finished the season with 37 tackles, including one for loss … recovered a fumble in the win over North Texas (Oct. 9) … career-best seven tackles at Vanderbilt (Oct. 30).
2020 (Freshman): Played in five games as a wide receiver … had one rush for three yards vs. Alabama.
High School: Four-star wide receiver prospect and the nation’s No. 58 wideout according to ESPN … 247Sports and Rivals both listed him as a three-star recruit … Rivals rated him as the state’s No. 18 prospect at any position and the nation’s No. 71 wide receiver … lead Spanish Fort High School to an appearance in the Alabama Class 6A state championship game … named AL.com’s Coastal Player of the Year … moved from wideout to quarterback during his senior season, starting 12 of 14 games at QB and the first two at wideout, and threw for 723 yards and nine touchdowns while rushing for 1,745 yards (11.3 avg.) and 19 touchdowns … tallied a pair of interceptions for touchdowns, accounting for 30 total touchdowns as a senior … also returned kicks and punts and was one of the state’s most electrifying offensive players … proven winner who was sensational in the state playoffs, rushing for 1,089 yards and 12 TDs while passing for 160 yards and two scores as the team nearly won the state 6A title, falling to Oxford, 14-13, in the final seconds of the championship game … finished second in the ASWA All-State Super 12 and was the runner-up for Mr. Football in Alabama.
