Three-sport athlete who ranked as the No. 22 dual-threat QB in the nation, according to Rivals ... Attended Mizzou's Independence Bowl win in Shreveport, La., then the next week played at the same stadium at the All-American Bowl, where he starred, going 8-of-8 passing for 125 yards, while adding 32 yards rushing on 8 carries ... Led his West team to two scoring drives on the day, as his team went on to a 21-13 win in the all-star game ... Completed 94-of-168 passes as a senior for 1,406 yards and 10 TDs, and also rushed for nearly 200 yards and 4 TDs, in being considered a top-10 QB in the state of Texas ... Was 1st-Team All-District and MVP of the district as a sophomore and a junior, and earned team's offensive MVP honors both years, as well ... Threw for 1,041 yards as a junior, completing 51-of-100 passes, and threw for 17 TDs, while rushing for 217 yards and 9 TDs ... Accounted for 20 TDs as a sophomore, throwing for just under 1,000 yards and 11 TDs, while rushing for 126 yards and 9 TDs ...
