2019 SEASON
Played in one game as a redshirt junior, getting snaps at wideout against Southeast Missouri (9/14) … Was Mizzou’s recipient of the SEC’s Community Service Award, given to a player from each for the league’s 14 member institutions who display exemplary work in their local communities.
2018 SEASON
Continued providing invaluable contributions to the scout team offense during the season as the Tigers won seven games and reached the post-season for the second-straight year ... Did not see game action in 2018.
2017 SEASON
Saw action in five games, seeing the field for the first time as a Tiger ... Got in a pair of SEC games during Mizzou’s 6-0 stretch run to close the regular season, as he played versus both Florida and Tennessee ... Also had earlier appearances in outings versus Missouri State, Idaho and at UConn.
BEFORE MIZZOU
A three-sport student-athlete at Jefferson City High School who excelled in football, track and field and baseball… captained the Jays’ 2015 squad and earned Offensive MVP honors as a senior wide receiver under head coach Ted LePage… racked up 800 yards on 40 receptions and nine total touchdowns during his senior campaign… secured Missouri Football Coaches Association Class 6 Second Team All-State recognition in 2015… three-time First-Team All-District selection following his final three prep seasons ... Parents – Marc and Christine Ellinger… Pursuing a degree in Economics… wanted to come to Mizzou his entire life.
