2023 (Redshirt Sophomore): Made seven appearances on the year, earning the starting nod in the season opener against South Dakota (Aug. 31) ...  picked up two tackles in the season, coming against Middle Tennessee (Sept. 9) and at Arkansas (Nov. 24).
2022 (Redshirt Freshman): Saw action in 12 games this season, making two starts … finished the regular season with 16 total tackles, a fumble recovery and a blocked kick … picked up two tackles against LA Tech (9/1) … made a career-high five tackles against Georgia (10/1) … made two tackles and recovered a fumble at Florida (10/8) … had two tackles against New Mexico State (11/19).
2021 (Freshman): Appeared in two games and preserved a redshirt season.
High School: Four-star linebacker listed on the ESPN 300, checking in at 296th overall and as the No. 10 inside linebacker nationally … Rivals and 247Sports rated him as a three-star prospect … Sports Illustrated All-America candidate … totaled 123 tackles (8.2 per game) with 16 tackles for loss during a breakout junior season … also added four sacks, nine pass deflections, three fumble recoveries and five forced fumbles … Kings Mountain went 12-3 and advanced to the 3A West Regional Final, falling to eventual state champion Charlotte Catholic in seven overtimes … 2018 and 2019 first-team All-Gazette selection … Big 22 Players to Watch List honoree in North Carolina … team MVP as a junior in 2019 … did not play a senior season in 2020 due to COVID health regulations.
