Talented and sure-handed walk-on receiver who enters spring camp listed second on the depth chart at the X-receiver position ... Will likely continue as part of MU's hands team that guard against onside kicks by opponents ... Can line up at a variety of wideout positions, and also is listed as the No. 2 holder for placekicks
2007 SEASON
Saw his first collegiate action for the Tigers, playing in 8-of-14 games on the season, including five of the last seven games in 2007 ... Changed his jersey number to 89 this spring, after wearing 26 a year ago for Mizzou.
2006 SEASON
Did not see action, but showed good skills and pass-catching ability throughout the season, after entering fall camp listed third on the depth chart at the Z-receiver position.
HIGH SCHOOL
All-metro wide receiver for traditional powerhouse Rockhurst High School in Kansas City ... Was selected to play in the Missouri vs. Kansas High School All-Star Game following his prep career ... Caught 29 passes and had 4 TDs as a senior for Rockhurst, and on the other side of the ball, added 5 interceptions and made 58 solo tackles on defense ... Had 56 tackles as a junior and caught 13 passes for 2 TDs ... Was a three-year letterwinner in football, and earned four letters in track ... High school coach - Tony Severino.
PERSONAL
Son of Kirk & Susie May ... Academic interest lies in the communications field, and is currently taking pre-journalism classes ... Enjoys spending time with friends and hanging out at the lake in his spare time ... Chose Mizzou over Kansas State, among others.
