2006 SEASON
Hard-nosed and athletic walk-on receiver who has given nice contributions in 2006, after missing the 2005 season due to injury ... Has excellent hands and route-running ability, in addition to nice physical skills ... Has seen action in 10 games this season, playing primarily on various special teams units, but with the injury to Will Franklin, has seen more snaps with the offense ... Had a very nice downfield block that spung QB Chase Daniel for a scramble that Daniel carried inside the Kansas 10-yardline in the regular-season finale ... Is an outstanding student who earned 1st-Team Academic All-Big 12 honors for the 2nd time in his career ... Had a strong spring camp that he capped with a solid 5-catch, 64-yard receiving outing in the annual Black & Gold Spring Game ... One of those grabs was a 7-yard TD offering from QB Chase Daniel.

2005 SEASON
Walk-on receiver who was in a position to contribute, but an injured shoulder suffered in fall camp knocked him out for the season ... Entered fall camp listed No. 3 on the depth chart at the H-receiver position ... Was having a productive spring camp before a knee sprain forced him to miss a majority of the spring period.

2004 SEASON
Played in all 11 games on special teams and earned his first varsity letter ... Made 4 special teams tackles, including 2 each in games versus Arkansas State and Kansas State ... Earned 1st-Team Academic All-Big 12 honors for his efforts in the classroom ... Ended the spring period by catching 2 passes for 17 yards in the Black and Gold Game.

2003 SEASON
Was a member of the scout team offense ... Caught 2 passes in the spring Black and Gold Game for 8 yards.

All-around athlete who lettered in five different sports at Plattsburg High School, including football and basketball for four years, golf for two years and baseball and track for one year each ... Was an all-conference and all-district split end as a senior in 2001 as he caught 24 passes for 496 yards and 8 TDs ... Was the team's captain and also earned all-conference honors as a linebacker ... Also earned all-conference and all-district honors as a split end during junior season ... Grabbed 18 passes for 415 yards and 8 TDs as a junior ... Played cornerback as a junior, and was also named all-conference at the position ... Coach - Greg Smith.
