2006-07 Season:
Numbers don't tell the whole story for Jason Horton's junior season ... Playing alongside talented guards Stefhon Hannah and Keon Lawrence, Horton embraced a role of playing mistake-free basketball and proved to be one of the team's top perimeter defenders ... While averaging 3.6 points, 3.2 assists in 30 games (22 starts), Horton was among the Big 12's top defenders and ranked No. 14 with 1.3 steals per game ... Also among the Big 12's top assist men, 13th overall with 3.2 per game, he ranked No. 3 in the Big 12 with a team-leading 2.38-to-1 assist-to-turnover ratio ... Narrowly missed his third consecutive 100-assists season, finishing with 95 ... Finished the season with 319 career assists, which is just 11 shy of joining the Mizzou career Top 10 ... Finished the season fifth on the club in scoring (7.2), second in minutes played (30.6) and second in steals (34) ... Second on the club with a 37-percent shooting touch from three-point range (34-of-92) ... Ranked 15th league-wide and third among freshmen in assist-to-turnover ratio (1.41-to-1) ... Dished out assists in 30-of-32 games and enjoyed three or more dimes 17 times ...
