Alex Barton enters his second full season as Mizzou’s Director of Baseball Operations after taking over the role during the 2021 season. In his role, he oversees all administrative aspects of Tiger Baseball, including team travel, game operations, alumni events and assisting the coaching staff with on-campus recruiting. Barton also serves as the main contact between the baseball program and the ticket office, communications and marketing departments.

A 2019 graduate of Missouri, Barton has been involved with Mizzou baseball throughout his time as an undergraduate student and then as a graduate assistant. A mid-Mo native, Barton hails from Jefferson City.
