FRESHMAN (2018)
- Played in 34 games, including 15 starts, and hit .261 with six doubles in 69 at-bats before a scary injury in the series opener vs. Georgia ended his season as he went face first into a wall in RF while chasing a foul ball.
- Was coming into his own before the injury, hitting safely in nine of the previous 11 games with four runs and three doubles.
- Tallied a multiple hit performance against Alabama (4/6), his first and only multi-hit outing of the year.
- Had doubles in back-to-back games vs. Missouri State (4/24) and vs. Kentucky (4/27).
- Also walked 12 times and reached base at a .386 clip during his freshman season.
HIGH SCHOOL (REAGAN)
- Had a standout prep career under head coach Chans Chapman at Ronald Reagan High School
- Hit .360 with five home runs as a senior
- In his career, he hit .350 with seven home runs
- Lead RRHS to a runner-up finish in the state tournament in both 2014 and 2017
- Earned Second Team All-District in 2014, and First Team All-District in both 2015 and 2016
- Awarded All-Area Team in 2016
- Earned First Team All-District in 2017
- Named San Antonio Express News MVP of the 2017 All-Area Team
- Selected to the Area Super Team
- Was THSBCA All-State and TSWA All-State Team in 2017
- Also played football, receiving Second Team All-District in 2015, 2016 and 2017
