• Freshman guard Frankie Hughes scored 22 points (6-of-16 FG, 5-of-11 3PT, 5-of-6 FT) for his third 20-point game of his first Black & Gold season. Hughes' 22-point effort came off the bench and was his first since scoring 24 points vs. No. 11 Xavier (Nov. 17).
• Sophomore guard Terrence Phillips dished eight assists against the Rebels, his 14th game this season with five-or-more assists. Phillips' eight assists tied for his second-best total of the 2016-17 campaign (8 vs. Northwestern State, Nov. 26; 8 vs. LSU, Jan. 4).
• Freshman forward Reed Nikko logged a season-high 23 minutes and recorded eight points and a season-high nine rebounds. 
• Sophomore guard Jordan Geist scored 11 points, all in the second half, to record his seventh game scoring in double figures. 
• Junior forward Jordan Barnett recorded 14 points (6-of-11 FG, 2-of-5 3PT), his 14th effort of 10 points or more in 19 career games with the Tigers. 
• Barnett sank two three-pointers in the game, the 10th time this season he had made multiple triples in a contest. 
• Sophomore guard Cullen VanLeer shot 2-of-3 from three-point range for his 10th game this season with at least two three-pointers.
