  • With the 90-82 win, Mizzou moves to 1-1 all-time against St. John’s, with the only other game occurring in the 1972 NIT.
  • Mizzou has now scored 90 points in back-to-back games for the first time since Dec. 15 and Dec. 18, 2011, when the Tigers beat Kennesaw State, 104-67, and William & Mary, 94-56.
  • Mizzou made a season-high 14 three-pointers in the game, led by five from senior guard Kassius Robertson and four from freshman forward Jontay Porter.
  • The Tigers were very efficient from the free throw line for the second game in a row, connecting on 26-of-32 (81.3 percent) from the charity stripe. It was the second consecutive game Mizzou has made more than 80 percent of its attempts from the free throw line.
  • In the win, Mizzou had five Tigers score in double figures for the second consecutive game and third time this season. Scoring in double figures was senior forward Jordan Barnett (19), Robertson (17), Porter (16), junior forward Kevin Puryear (15) and junior guard Jordan Geist (11).
  • Barnett helped put away the Johnnies in the game’s closing minutes, converting 5-of-6 free throws in the final two minutes. Barnett made a career high 9-of-10 from the charity stripe in the game. Before today’s game, Barnett had never made more than six free throws or attempted more than seven in a game.
  • Barnett also turned away a career-high three shots in the game.
  • Robertson matched his season-high with five three-pointers in the game after also connecting on five triple against Wagner (Nov. 13). The sharp shooting marks the 11th time in his career he has made at least five triples.
  • Robertson finished the game with 17 points and a team-high five assists.
  • With 15 points, Porter scored in double-digits for the third consecutive game. Porter made a season-high four threes in the game.
  • Porter also blocked two shots in the game, giving him at least one block in five of six games this season.
  • Puryear notched 15 points in the game, his 46th career game in double figures.
  • Junior guard Terrence Phillips dished out five assists in the game, the 26th time in his career he has had at least five assists.
