Junior forward Jordan Barnett continued his hot streak of play by scoring 20 points, the third time he has set his career high in a Tiger uniform and fourth consecutive game he has scored in double figures.
In his sixth career game as a Tiger, Barnett has led the team in scoring twice now.
Barnett was a perfect 6-of-6 from the free throw line, setting career highs in free throws made and attempted.
Barnett drained two three-pointers in the game, the third time this season and sixth time in his career he has connected on multiple threes.
Sophomore guard K.J. Walton grabbed a career-high 13 rebounds in the game, surpassing his previous high of six, set twice.
Walton’s 13 rebounds is tied with Barnett for the most rebounds by a Tiger this season. Barnett snagged 13 boards against Lipscomb on Dec. 29.
Sophomore guard Terrence Phillips recorded a career-high three blocks in the game. Phillips had never recorded more than one block in a game before tonight.
Phillips chipped in 12 points in the game, marking the sixth time this season and third consecutive game he has score in double figures.
Phillips also recorded six assists in the game, the 9^th time this season and 17^th time in his career he has had at least five assists.
Sophomore guard Jordan Geist scored 10 points in the game, his third game in double figures since being inserted into the starting line (fourth start) and fourth overall this season.
Sophomore forward Kevin Puryear snagged nine rebounds in the game, the 14^th time this season and 31^st time in his career he has recorded at least five rebounds.
As a team, Mizzou grabbed a season-high 51 rebounds, surpassing its previous high of 50, set against Miami (Ohio) on Dec. 6.
Mizzou had seven steals in the game, led by Walton and Phillips, who each had three.
