- With the win, Mizzou head coach Robin Pingeton is now 12-6 all-time against Indiana State in her 22nd season. Most of those meetings came while she was at Illinois State. She has won seven of the last eight against the Sycamores.
- Mizzou is now 2-0 all-time against Indiana State with the only other meeting between the two coming in 1992, a 63-45 Mizzou win.
- Mizzou has now won 26 consecutive nonconference games at Mizzou Arena and 40 consecutive regular season nonconference home games. The last loss for Mizzou in a nonconference game came in the postseason WNIT in 2013.
- Tuesday’s win marked the largest margin of victory for Mizzou (29 points) since defeating Lamar by 34 points on Dec. 20, 2015 (91-57).
- Mizzou made its first 12 free throws on Tuesday, extending its streak to 20 consecutive makes without a miss before an unsuccessful attempt at the 1:50 mark of the second quarter. Remarkably that was its only miss of the game.
- Mizzou made 27-of-28 free throws on Tuesday. On record, it matches the third-best FT percentage in school history (min. 10 attempts) – the only two performances that were better are a 21-for-21 mark against Oklahoma in 2004 (a 77-65 win) and a 10-for-10 performance against North Florida in 2011 (a 67-46 win). Two of the top three single game FT performances have now come in the Robin Pingeton era. . Mizzou leads the SEC in free throw percentage (.851).
- After scoring in double figures 14 times as a true freshman a year ago, sophomore Cierra Porter broke the double-digit barrier in the first half. She has been over double figures in every game this year.
- Mizzou outscored Indiana State, 20-6, in the first quarter. Mizzou has now outscored its opponents, 77-52, this season.
- Freshman Jordan Chavis tallied a career- and game-high 17 points on 6-for-11 shooting on the same night she appeared on the game’s program cover.
- Mizzou dominated the offensive glass on Tuesday, pulling down 17 offensive boards while outscoring ISU, 18-4, in second chance points. Mizzou has had double-digit offensive boards in three of four games this season.
- Mizzou’s 17 offensive boards on Tuesday match their most in a single game since pulling down 20 against Lamar on Dec. 20, 2015.
- Mizzou has now limited three of its four opponents this year to less than 30 percent shooting.
- Mizzou scored 26 points off of 18 ISU turnovers.
- Mizzou assisted on 15 of 22 made field goal on Tuesday. Mizzou is assisting on nearly 60 percent of its field goals this season (49-of-83).
