  • Sophomore guard K.J. Walton scored 20 points off the bench in the win, setting a career-high and easily surpassing his previous career-best of 11 points, which he had accomplished three previous times.
  • Walton also recorded three steals to tie his career best in that category, matching his three-steal effort vs. Auburn last season (Jan. 9, 2016).
  • Walton's 20-point game was additionally his 10th game scoring 10 points or more for the Tigers.
  • According to Mizzou historian Tom Orf, Walton is the first Tiger in the last seven seasons to score 20 points off the bench while playing less than 20 minutes in the game, overall (19 minutes).
  • Senior forward Russell Woods grabbed 10 rebounds to match his career-best total in boards, which he had done twice previously.
  • Freshman guard Frankie Hughes scored 14 points for his third double-digit scoring game out of four Mizzou career contests.
  • Hughes shot 2-for-7 from three-point range and has sank multiple three-pointers in 3-of-4 games this season.
  • Sophomore forward Kevin Puryear scored 11 points for the Tigers, his third consecutive game with 10 points or more and his 24th career game scoring in double figures.
