- Senior forward Russell Woods set a career high in scoring with 12 points, surpassing his previous best of nine points which he set twice last season.
- Mizzou's 99 points scored is the squad's highest game total since scoring 102 points against South Carolina State on Dec.17, 2012.
- Ten different Tigers scored, including 55 of Mizzou's 99 points coming from newcomers.
- The 23 points scored by freshman guard Frankie Hughes matched the program record for a freshman debut. All-time great Steve Stipanovich scored 23 points for Mizzou as a freshman against Southwest Texas State in 1979.
- The Tigers set a Mizzou Arena record for fewest assists allowed, giving up just four to Alabama A&M. The previous low was five, last set against Texas A&M in 2012.
