Tailgating is a longstanding tradition before Mizzou football contests, built on the tradition of enjoying the fellowship of friends, the Mizzou Spirit, and great Mizzou Football. The University of Missouri and Mizzou Athletics encourage responsible tailgating in an effort to enhance the game day experience, ensure a safe game day atmosphere to all fans, and preserve the beauty of campus.
Individuals, groups and organizations holding or participating in tailgate parties are responsible for their own conduct, and are expected to respect the rights of others and the entire University community.
- Individuals are responsible for compliance with all local and state laws governing alcohol consumption.
- University rules permit the use of alcoholic beverages at tailgate parties or picnic activities at NCAA intercollegiate athletic events only on the day of the event and in the general proximity of the event, including outdoor locations or in outdoor parking areas.
- In accordance with the alcoholic beverage laws of the State of Missouri, individuals must be at least 21 years old to purchase, possess, or consume alcoholic beverages. The use of alcoholic beverages by members of the University of Missouri community is at all times subject to the alcoholic beverage laws of the State of Missouri. Kegs or bulk quantities of alcohol are not permitted in any vehicle or on University property. Failure to comply can lead to confiscation of alcohol and fines.
- The parking and tailgating policies are designed to assist guests with understanding operations on home football game days. Event Management reserves the right to interpret specific applications of the guidelines in order to provide a positive and safe environment for everyone in attendance.

Individuals wishing to park on a single game basis in Lot M-ADA Parking will be able when parking lots open. No passes will be given in advance. A golf cart shuttle is available for individuals who utilize M-ADA to Gate 2E.
In addition to the criteria above, all individuals seeking parking in one of our accessible parking lots must meet the following criteria:
- The individual seeking parking must have a disabled placard or license plate.
- The individual to whom the placard or license plate was issued must be in the vehicle.
- The individual seeking to park must show the parking attendant a validated application receipt for the placard or license plate.
Accessible parking pass holders will be required to park in the spots reserved for accessible parking only. If you require accessible parking that provides space to enter and exit a vehicle with a mobility aid, please let us know upon entry so we can accommodate you in a stall with access aisles. In addition, please indicate if your vehicle is equipped with a lift system that requires the provision of a "van accessible" 8-foot access aisle. This information helps us to provide the highest level of access to the greatest number of our fans with accessible needs as possible.
