Colleen Lamond


Position: Director of Game Operations
Colleen Lamond is entering her eighth year at Missouri and her fifth as the Director of Game Operations. Lamond served as Assistant Director of Game Operations from 2004-2007, before earning a promotion to Director.
Lamond directs all elements of events management for Missouri's 20 sports, and oversees the event management staffs.
She is the game manager for Missouri's football, men's basketball, Gymnastics, and Baseball events, and has served as the tournament director for numerous Big 12 Conference championships, NCAA events and NIT games.
She is a member of the Missouri athletics department's external relations team and works with a number of areas to support department goals.
She is responsible for a $1.2 million budget and manages 2 full-time employees.
Before coming to Mizzou, Lamond spent three years at Marist College where she spent one year as Coordinator of Athletic Facilities and her final two years as the Assistant Athletic Director for Facilities.
Prior to joining the Marist staff, Lamond spent the 2000-01 athletic season as the Assistant Director of Championships for the Sun Belt Conference in New Orleans, La. While with the Sun Belt, Lamond assisted in the operations of the conference's 16 sports.
The native of Southbury, Connecticut earned her bachelor's degree in therapeutic recreation at Virginia Commonwealth (Richmond, VA) in 1999. While there, Lamond was a four-year letter winner on the field hockey team. While earning her Masters of Science in Sports Leadership from VCU in December 2002 she served as the Assistant Director of Facilities from December 1999-August 2000. She had responsibilities of event preparation and game operations for all 14 Rams athletic teams.
Lamond and her husband, John, were married in June of 2008.
