Director of Athletics Mike Alden and Tiger Scholarship Fund Director for Advancement Nico Yantko are on the road today for Mike's monthly statewide outreach trip. Mike has made a trip like this once a month for over 16 years; he and numerous staffers have visited all 114 counties in the State of Missouri at least twice! We'll have updates from the road with Mike and Nico as the day progresses to give you a peek into the great Tiger fans & places that make our state so special.
School has been out for nearly two weeks here at Mizzou, so campus is looking like a bit of a ghost town. On Saturday, however, there will be plenty of action to keep Tiger fans busy. Here's a full rundown:
Beginning today, the
front page of mutigers.com has been changed in an effort to promote donations to the American Red Cross relief effort in Haiti, which has been devastated by a series of earthquakes.
Mizzou fans are encouraged to donate before and after the Women's basketball game against Baylor at 1pm and the Men's game against Nebraska at 5pm at Mizzou Arena.
For fans that cannot attend either game, the University of Missouri encourages fans to
donate directly to the American Red Cross, by calling 1-800-RED CROSS or by texting "HAITI" to 90999

$10 will be charged to your phone bill).
