2015

  • Drafted in the 23rd round of the 2015 MLB Draft by the Washington Nationals. 
  • Appeared in four games as a junior, starting three, while compiling a 3.21 ERA over 14.0 innings pitched. 
  • Limited batters to .222 hitting on the year and won all three of his starts, giving him a new career-high for wins in a season. 
  • Allowed just 12 hits in his 14.0 innings.
  • Season was cut short due to injury. 

2014

  • Started two games and appeared in 10 for the Tigers.
  • Posted a 2.04 ERA over 17.2 innings, without picking up a decision.
  • Struck out 16 batters while only giving up seven walks.
  • Gave up the least amount of earned runs (four) and hits (15) of any Tiger appearing in at least 10 games.

High School

  • Was named to the 2012 Rawlings/Perfect Game High School All-America Second Team.
  • Highest-drafted high school player to not sign with a professional team after being selected by the Philadelphia Phillies in the second round of the MLB First Year Player Draft last summer (95th overall).
  • Compiled a 5-2 overall record with a 0.90 ERA and 97 strikeouts in his senior season while guiding Adel-DeSoto-Minburn to a 19-9 overall record.
  • Also hit .380 with 20 RBI in his senior season.
  • Named to the 2011 Perfect Game Underclass Team and was a 2010 Perfect Game Underclass honorable mention selection. 
  • Rated as the No. 72 overall recruit nationally according to BaseballAmerica.com and was the cornerstone to the Tigers' 2013 recruiting class, which was dubbed No. 24 nationally by BaseballAmerica.com.
