Women's Golf in Sixth Following NCAA Regional Championships Second Round

STANFORD, Calif. – No. 31 Mizzou women's golf recorded an even par and is in sixth place at 6-over following an even par 284 second round of the NCAA Regional Championships on Tuesday.
The round tied the lowest ever for the program in NCAA regional history.
Senior Melanie Walker paced the Tigers with a 3-under 68 performance. Walker rose 12 spots up the leaderboard and is tied for 12th overall at 2-under. Walker's round ranks second lowest in program history for a regional.
Subbing in for sophomore Alexandra Berglund, junior Fleur van Beek went 1-under 70 with a pair of birdies. The round ranks sixth lowest in Mizzou history at a regional.
Freshman Ebba Liljeberg stands in a tie for 28th after a 1-over second round. Liljeberg posted four birdies and lifted seven spots up the leaderboard at 3-over for the tournament.
Senior Jade Zamora notched a 4-over round and sits at 2-over overall. Zamora tallied three birdies and is in a tie for 23rd.
Senior Addie Dobson also went 3-over on the day and is tied for 45th at 8-over through the opening two rounds.
The top five schools from stroke play, along with the low individual not on an advancing team move on to compete in the NCAA Women's Championship, taking place from May 22-27 at Omni La Costa Resort in Carlsbad, Calif.
