Women's Swimming & Diving Wrap Up First Two Days of NCAA Championships

ATLANTA – Mizzou swimming and diving wrapped up the first two days of the NCAA Championships, as the Tigers competed in the morning session across three events at the McAuley Aquatic Center.

ATLANTA – Mizzou swimming and diving wrapped up the first two days of the NCAA Championships, as the Tigers competed in the morning session across three events at the McAuley Aquatic Center.

On Day One of the championships, MU competed in the 200-yard medley relay, with freshman Libby Bakker, senior Lina Bank, junior Kiley Sullivan, and sophomore Katie Kuehn. The Tigers failed to advance to the afternoon session, finishing 20th in the prelims with a time of 1:36.65.

Heading into the second day, Mizzou had athletes in two different events, as Bank and junior Zara Zallen finished the 100-yard breast prelims in 17th and 37th, respectively. Bank led the charge with a time of 59.01, while Zallen posted a time of 1:00.38.

In the 200-yard free relay, Kuehn, Bank, Zallen and senior Paige Striley wrapped up the day in 14th with a 1:28.94 clip.

Bank competes in the 200-yard breast prelims, and Megan Jolly will start the diving section of the meet for the Tigers as she will be in the 3-meter prelims.
