
Women's Diving Carries Tigers Through Final Day of SEC Championships

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – Swimming and diving concluded their run at the 2026 SEC Swimming and Diving Championships with a top finish in both swimming and diving.
The women's diving squad carried the last day of competition with four divers qualifying for finals. Freshman Jazzelle Eikermann Gregorchuk earned the highest mark with a sixth-place finish and final score of 271.50. Olivia Liddle, Megan Jolly and Gabriela San Juan Carmona all competed in the consolation final. Liddle earned the top spot with a ninth-place finish and score of 251.00. She was followed by Jolly in 12th (229.55) and San Juan Carmona in 16th.
Earning his second top finish of the meet, Luke Nebrich came in fifth place in the men's 100 free competition. The sophomore swam a NCAA qualifying standard time of 41.81. He previously finished fourth in the 50 free competition, setting the school record at 18.74.
Colorado native, Zara Zallen touched the wall in 48.77 in the women's 100 free competition, putting her at 12th in the conference.
Three Tigers competed in tonight's 200 back finals. On the women's side, Libby Bakker won the bonus final with a personal-best time of 1:54.75 to earn a NCAA qualifying standard and 17th place finish. Senior Jan Zubik earned the highest mark for the men with a 15th place finish and NCAA qualifying standard personal-best time of 1:41.95. Zubik now sits at seventh in Mizzou's record books behind Grant Bochenski's 1:41.76 set in 2024. Quinlan Gould also competed in the finals with a 1:44.03 performance to finish 23rd.
The 400 free relays closed out the competition in Knoxville. The women's squad of Zallen, Katie Kuehn, Francesca Smith and Karolina Bank raced a 3:16.65 to finish 10th in the event. On the men's side, Nebrich, Oliver Millán de Miguel, Brady Johnson and Darden Tate put up a 2:51.72 to finish 10th.
