
StorageMart Named Title Sponsor of Mizzou-Kansas Border Showdown Rivalry

COLUMBIA, Mo. – The historic Border Showdown rivalry series has a new title sponsor in StorageMart, which signed on in a multi-year deal to present head-to-head meetings between Mizzou and Kansas across all sports.
Two of the first 2025 meetings in the rivalry, which dates back to 1891, will be played on the gridiron and the hardwood. The Tigers and Jayhawks will meet in Columbia on Sep. 6 in football and at the T-Mobile Center in Kansas City on Dec. 7 in men's basketball. The two women's basketball programs will also renew their rivalry Nov. 15 at T-Mobile Arena in Kansas City.

As part of the rebranded StorageMart Border Showdown, two potential logos were unveiled July 10, with a fan vote deciding which design will become the new artwork representing one of the nation's oldest rivalries. The fan vote will conclude on July 24, and the new StorageMart Border Showdown logo will be revealed July 25. Fans can vote here for to choose the official logo.
