
Gymnastics Posts Best Score in Program History in Senior Day Win

Missouri becomes one of just five schools this season to reach the 198.000 threshold.
COLUMBIA, Mo. – No. 7 University of Missouri gymnastics earned its best team score in program history in the team's senior day win against No. 13 Auburn, 198.100-197.150, on Sunday at Hearnes Center before 3,994 spectators.
Seventh-ranked Mizzou (12-4, 4-3 SEC) earned at least 49.375 in all four events with 13 individual scores of at least 9.900, 10 of which came from the senior class. MU outscored 13th-ranked Auburn (10-5, 3-4 SEC) in all four events.
SHOW STOPPERS
The team's top mark of the day came from Amari Celestine (Wildomar, Calif.), who earned the sixth-best all-around score in program history at 39.650. Her final routine in Hearnes Center came on floor, where she earned 9.975 to tie a career best.

-Mizzou totaled 49.375 on its first rotation, tying its best of the season.
-MU saw a pair of gymnasts earn 9.900 or better – Celestine (9.925) and Hannah Horton (Brooklyn Park, Minn.) (9.900).

-Horton's result marked her third 9.900 in a row.
-Freshman Kaia Tanskanen (Howell, Mich.) matched her career-best of 9.825 for the third time this season.
Uneven Bars
-On bars, Missouri earned 49.575, its second-best score in program history.
-Three gymnasts scored career bests, with Jocelyn Moore (Hillsborough, N.J.) going 9.950, Kyra Burns (Blue Springs, Mo.) scoring 9.925 and Olivia Kelly (Bronx, N.Y.) scoring 9.875.
-Mara Titarsolej (Zutphen, Netherlands) scored 9.950 for the second-consecutive meet.
Beam
-Mizzou's 49.450 on balance beam marked its best score of the season.
-Addison Lawrence's (Olathe, Kan.) 9.925 is her season-best performance in the event.
-Kelly tied her best mark on beam for the second-consecutive meet, scoring 9.900.
-Celestine put up her season-best score of 9.875 for the third time this season.
Floor
-Missouri capped off the afternoon by posting 49.700 on the floor exercise, tying the program's second-best score on the apparatus.
-Celestine (9.975), Moore (9.950), Kennedy Griffin (Strongsville, Ohio) (9.925), Horton (9.925) and Rayna Light (Brandon, Fla.) (9.925) all received at least 9.900 on their routines.
-Light's score marked a new personal best.
-Moore matched her season-best result of 9.950 for the third time this season. She anchored the rotation and clinched Mizzou's first-ever score of 198.
