COLUMBIA, Mo. – University of Missouri softball utilized a trio of home runs to power past Quinnipiac, 7-1, to conclude the Mizzou Invitational Saturday at the Mizzou Softball Stadium.

Missouri is now 15-13 in 2025 after going 4-0 at its home tournament. The Tigers also beat Michigan Saturday morning, 7-3.

Scoring for the Tigers opened in the first on a double by senior Kara Daly to bring two Tigers home, followed by a bunt single from sophomore Claire Cahalan to increase the Tigers lead to 3-0 advantage.

Cahalan increased her reached base streak to 13 games.

In the bottom of the second, senior Julia Crenshaw notched a solo home run, marking her eighth of the season.

Senior Taylor Ebbs followed with another homer in the bottom of the third, and sophomore Madison Walker registered MU's third long ball of the game, a two-run shot in the fourth inning to extend the Tigers lead to 7-0.

Ebbs is currently on a seven-game reached base streak (six-game hitting streak).

Walker blasted her 12th home run of the season. With 16, she will enter Missouri's single-season record books top-10 for the category.

Walker has now hit safely in six-straight games. She had three homers over the Mizzou Invitational to go with seven RBI.

The Bobcats would scratch across a run in the fifth before junior Courtney Donahue would close out the final two innings with a career-best (NCAA Division I) trio of strikeouts.

Junior Cierra Harrison pitched five innings, allowing only one run on three hits with eight strikeouts. She picked up the win to improve to 6-4 this season.

Missouri's pitchers totaled a season-best 11 strikeouts.

Daly paced MU with two hits (2-for-2) with two RBI, a double and a run.
