ABOUT THE TIGERS
• Missouri owns an 8-1 record in 2025-26, coming off a 76-71 setback at Notre Dame on Tuesday.
• Senior Mark Mitchell leads the Tigers with 18.1 points and 3.2 assists per game, while ranking second with 6.1 rebounds.
• Overall, four Tigers are scoring in double figures with Jacob Crews (14.1), Jayden Stone (13.3) and Anthony Robinson II (10.1) joining Mitchell.

• The best way to have a high shooting percentage is to take close shots and that's exactly where the Tigers have thrived in 2025-26.
• MU is outscoring teams, 412-186, in the paint this season – an average of 45.8 to 20.7 (+25.1).
• The Tigers have outscored their opponent in the paint in all nine games, including eight times by at least 10 points. Their most dominant game was a 60-2 advantage against VMI on Nov. 9.
MR. VERSATILE, MARK MITCHELL
• Mark Mitchell has led the charge for Mizzou and has started the season on an elite level.
• Mitchell has averaged a team-best 18.1 points – shooting 61.1 percent from the field – while also leading MU with 3.2 assists and ranking second with 6.1 rebounds per game.
• In fact, he is one of just five players in the nation averaging 18 points, six rebounds and three assists, plus the only player to do so while shooting 60-plus percent.
TOP SCORER
• While Mark Mitchell can do it all, he's still best known for his scoring ability.
• Mitchell leads Missouri with 18.1 points, which is the highest average by a Tiger through nine games since Jordan Clarkson (20.2) and Jabari Brown (19.4) in 2013-14.
• A large key to Mitchell's success is his ability to get to the free-thrown line. He ranks 10th in the nation with 73 attempts from the charity stripe.
THE CREWS MISSILE
• Graduate student Jacob Crews has been one of the top shooters nationally this season.
• Crews leads the Tigers with 25 made 3-pointers and a clip of 49.0 percent from beyond the arc.
• He currently ranks 22nd in the nation in 3-point percentage and 82nd with 2.78 triples per game.
• Overall, Crews – who had five made 3-pointers in the first nine games last year – has the most triples through nine games by a Tiger since D'Moi Hodge had 28 in 2022-23.
