COLUMBIA, Mo. – University of Missouri baseball is proud to present its 2025 First Pitch Celebration, a preseason kickoff event presented by Eclipse Catering and Events, Major League Baseball Hall of Fame pitcher Lee Smith, on Saturday, February 1, at The Atrium on Tenth in downtown Columbia.
Mizzou supporters and baseball fans alike will have the chance to be a part of the Tigers' preseason celebration, which will include hors d'oeuvres and cocktails (cash bar), a silent auction and a program featuring Smith, a seven-time MLB All-Star and 2019 inductee to Cooperstown.
Additionally, current and former Tigers in attendance will be available to meet the public and sign autographs. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. and the formal program will commence at 6:30 p.m.
Advance tickets for the event are available, starting as low as $50 for an individual general admission seat. Reserved individual table seats, sponsored tables of six and VIP experiences are also available for purchase. Along with SEC home series against Ole Miss, Texas, Oklahoma, Georgia and Mississippi State, the 2025 slate also includes visits from 2024 NCAA Tournament participants Evansville and Southeast Missouri, as well as home dates with traditional rivals Kansas and Missouri State.
Season tickets for Mizzou's 2025 campaign can be purchased via phone at 1-800-CAT-PAWS, or online through MUTigers.com. Single-game tickets are set to go on sale in early February. Mizzou opens its 132nd season of varsity baseball February 14 against Penn State to kick off a season-opening seven-game road trip, before returning to Columbia on February 25 for its home opener against Lindenwood.
