
Coach Halter Announces 2025 Track and Field Schedule

Mizzou to host five indoor meets, first time since 2020 program will compete at home
COLUMBIA, Mo. – University of Missouri track and field head coach Brett Halter announced the program's 2025 schedule on Friday morning, with the Tigers hosting five indoor meets inside the newly renovated Hearnes Center Fieldhouse.
In addition to the meets in Columbia, the schedule, which runs from December to May, features 16 total meets, eight indoor and eight outdoor.
The program will begin its season at Boston University in the Danville Opener on Saturday, December 7.
Following this, the Tigers will return to Hearnes Center for their first home meet since the 2020 season during the Alexis Jarrett Invitational on January 11, 2025. Mizzou will host four additional indoor meets consecutively, beginning with the Show Me Showdown on January 17 and then the Bob Teel Invitational on January 25.
The Dr. Rick McGuire Invitational will be held on January 31 and February 1. MU will close out its home stand with the Missouri Invitational on February 7.
The Tigers hit the road and will have individuals at both Boston University and Arkansas on February 14 and 15 for the Valentine Invitational and Tyson Invitational, respectively.
The indoor postseason will begin in 2025 Southeastern Conference Indoor Championship will take place in College Station, Texas from February 27- March 1. The Tigers will then travel to Virginia Beach, Virginia to close the indoor season at the NCAA Indoor Championship on March 13-15.
Outdoor competition begins the following weekend with a trip to Atlanta for the Yellow Jacket Invitational hosted by Georgia Tech on March 21 and 22. The Tigers continue the outdoor slate by traveling to Baton Rouge, Louisiana and Raleigh, North Carolina to compete in the Battle on the Bayou presented by LSU and Raleigh Relays hosted by NC State, on March 28 and 29.
The Tigers return home for a weekend off before journeying to Fayetteville, Arkansas on April 11 in the John McDonnell Invitational hosted by the Arkansas Razorbacks. The next day, MU will turn around to compete in the Cougar Classic at SIUE.
Missouri then takes a trip to Charlottesville, Virginia for the Virginia Challenge on April 18 and 19, followed by the Drake Relays on April 24-26 in Des Moines, Iowa. The team will then trek to College Station, Texas to compete in the Texas A&M Alumni Muster on May 3 to round out the regular season.
MU will then head to the Bluegrass State for the SEC Outdoor Championship on the University of Kentucky's campus in Lexington on May 15-17.
Mizzou will return to College Station to compete in the first round of the NCAA Championships on May 28-31. The NCAA Championships Final will be held in Eugene, Oregon on June 11-14.
Ahead of the 2025 season, Coach Halter announced the signing of World Champion high jumper Karmen Bruus to the Tigers track and field program for the 2025 season. He also announced the signings of Sofia Walker, Ethan Zuber and Sofia Wydra as members of the class of 2025 on Thursday.
