
Derek Colbert named to USA Diving National Team

COLUMBIA, Mo. – University of Missouri swimming and diving freshman Derek Colbert has been named to USA Diving's Tier 3 (Senior) High Performance Squad, as announced by the sport's governing body. This is Colbert's first year being selected to the team.
Colbert earned a third-place finish in 1M diving at the Texas UIL 5A State Championship in February with a score of 478.60. The Prosper, Texas native also placed third at the UIL Region 2-6A Championship in 1M diving, earning a score of 452.65.
A three-time All-America honoree, Colbert earned three all-state team selections and was a district and regional runner-up as a senior. He was also named to all-district and all-region teams four times as a prep standout.
A Walnut Grove High School product, Colbert helped lead his team win a 5A TISCA team championship and district team championship.
