Harry Pritchett Running Park, formerly the University Golf Course, was built in 1959 and converted to use for only cross country in November 2003. The course features a flat-to-rolling, all-grass surface and can accommodate 5k, 6k, 8k, and 10k loops. The Crimson Tide has hosted the SEC Championship five times and an NCAA Regional Championship seven times, last in 2017.

Broemmel has paced the women's team in each race during the 2024 campaign, finishing first at the season opener, 21st at the Spiked Shoe Invitational and 16th with a season-best 6k time of 20:20.7 during the team's last meet at the Gans Creek Classic.

The junior also finished 18th in the 5.2-mile Spiked Show Invitational men's race in 21:01.8. Friener earned his first collegiate win during the 6k Mizzou XC Opener in 18:23.7, leading to his first Southeastern Conference Runner of the Week honors.
Following the Crimson Classic, the Tigers will look ahead to the postseason with the SEC XC Championships on November 1. The Texas A&M Aggies will host the race at the Watts Cross Country Course in College Station, Texas.
