Baseball Announces 2024 Schedule

COLUMBIA, Mo. – Missouri Baseball Head Coach Kerrick Jackson has revealed the Tigers' complete 2024 schedule, which features dates with eight different NCAA Regional qualifiers from a year ago, including three teams that advanced to the College World Series.
Mizzou's regular-season slate will consist of 56 total games (29 home, 27 away/neutral), with the season opener set for Feb. 16, when the Tigers begin an eight-game swing on the West Coast with a four-game set against Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo, Calif. Following that, MU will extend its season-opening stay in California, competing in the Tony Gwynn Legacy event in San Diego.
"We're really excited about our schedule," Jackson said. "The idea is to put together a quality non-conference schedule in order to prepare for SEC play. We start off on the West Coast against some quality teams. Cal Poly is a team that, year-in and year-out, is very competitive. We'll also be playing in the Tony Gwynn Legacy event against some quality teams there as well. Overall, we'll see some really strong competition that should prepare us for the conference season."
The Tigers' 2024 campaign will feature at least 24 games against 2023 NCAA Tournament teams, highlighted by five home series versus Southeastern Conference opponents who made postseason appearances this past spring. Three of those clubs—LSU, Florida and Tennessee—advanced to Omaha, with LSU emerging as the 2023 Division I National Champion after besting Florida in the title series.
The Tigers open their schedule with a two-week road swing that will see Mizzou play its first eight games of the season on the West Coast. Following the aforementioned three-game series with Cal Poly, Mizzou travels to San Diego for a total of four games against Cal State Bakersfield, San Diego State and UC San Diego as part of the Tony Gwynn Legacy (Feb. 22-24) event.
The Tigers return to Columbia for a nine-game home stand, hosting Southeast Missouri (Feb. 27) to open the home portion of their schedule. Mizzou welcomes Northern Kentucky (March 1-3) and Purdue Fort Wayne (March 8-10) for a pair of three-game series, sandwiching a midweek contest against Lindenwood (March 5) to round out its initial set of games at Taylor Stadium in 2024.
Following the first of two non-conference meetings with Kansas (March 12), Mizzou shifts its primary focus to conference play. The Tigers will open their 12th SEC season with a visit to Fayetteville to take on Arkansas (March 15-17). Midweek neutral-field matchups with Kansas (March 19) and Illinois (March 26), as well as a conference home set against Kentucky (March 22-24) and a trip to Vanderbilt (March 28-30) complete the Tigers' March schedule.
Mizzou opens the month of April with six consecutive home tilts at Taylor, beginning with a two-game midweek series against UT Martin (April 2-3). The Tigers then welcome Florida (April 5-7) to town for a key SEC set, before hosting SIU Edwardsville (April 9) in another non-conference midweek contest.
A three-game league series against Georgia (April 11-13) in Athens follows, before the Tigers meet Missouri State (April 16) in Springfield for the first game of a home-and-home series with their in-state foe.
Next, defending national champ LSU (April 19-21) pays Taylor Stadium a visit for what promises to be one of the highlights of the 2024 home slate. The Tigers' final two non-conference home games against Missouri State (April 23) and Lindenwood (April 30), as well as an SEC road series with Tennessee (April 25-27), bring the month of April to a close.
The Tigers will conclude their home season with back-to-back series against South Carolina (May 3-5) and Auburn (May 10-12). Mizzou's regular season comes to a close with a trip to Starkville for their final SEC series of the year against Mississippi State (May 16-18).
The SEC Baseball Tournament will once again take place in Hoover, Ala. (May 21-26).
2024 TICKET INFORMATION
Tiger fans can reserve their spot at Taylor Stadium by requesting season tickets with a $20 deposit for the 2024 season. Season tickets for Mizzou's 29-game home slate are $65 for adult general admission and $100 for reserved chairback seating. Season ticket renewals will begin in the month of November, with single-game tickets set to go on sale in early February.
