COLUMBIA, Mo. – The University of Missouri Track and Field team's Georgi Nachev is set to represent the Tigers at the European Indoor Championships in Istanbul, Turkey from March 2-3.

Nachev with open with the event qualifiers at 7:53 p.m. on Thursday. The finals will be held at 8:35 p.m. on Friday.

The senior placed ninth in the triple jump with a distance of 15.83m at the SEC Indoor Championships last week in his lone competition this season.

The two-time NCAA qualifier holds Missouri's second-best program mark in the event at 16.48m. The personal-best leap took place at the 2022 conference championships.
