
Join the Mizzou's Athletics Fan Advisory Council

COLUMBIA, Mo. - The University of Missouri Department of Athletics is now accepting applications for the department's 2nd annual Fan Advisory Council.
The Mizzou Athletics Fan Advisory Council provides fans a platform to help shape the future of gameday at University of Missouri athletic events. The council will exist to provide feedback and guidance to our Athletics Department, specifically the area of External Operations. Members of the Fan Advisory Council will meet with Mizzou administrators and staff to express their suggestions concerning the overall fan experience.
Mizzou is looking for up to 16 advisors made up of fans from a diverse group to include students, staff, alumni, donors, ticket holders, and community members. Fan Advisory Council Members commit to a one-year term, which includes four meetings throughout the year. During meetings the Fan Advisory Council will be provided a "behind the scenes" look at our overall department and be asked to provide opinions and feedback as to how Mizzou Athletics can continue to grow and achieve maximum success across various areas. Fan Council advisors may be asked to join consulting meetings, explore partnerships with community leaders and assist in creation of external initiatives. Areas will include but are not limited to external operation functions such as ticketing, marketing, media relations, development/fundraising, fan experience, community engagement and corporate partnerships.
Important Dates
May 16 - Applications open for Fan Advisory Council
May 25 - Deadline for applications to be accepted.
May 26 - Application review begins, and membership selected.
June 2 - Announcement of Fan Council Membership
