COLUMBIA, Mo. – University of Missouri football welcomed five new student-athletes to the program on Wednesday's National Signing Day.
Class of 2022 By The Numbers:
- 28 total signees/transfers (15 offense, 13 defense)
- Six ESPN Top 300 signees (Burden, Horn, Jones, Thompson, Wayne, Wesolak)
- 10 from the state of Missouri

Carmycah Glass | LB, 6-4, 210 | Monroe, La. | Ouachita Parish
- three-star recruit by Rivals ranked as the No. 43 linebacker in the country
- No. 30 prospect from Louisiana by 247Sports
- 2021 Louisiana 5A District 2 Defensive MVP
Ty'Ron Hopper | LB, 6-2, 205 | Shelby, N.C. | Roswell / Florida
- played 28 games at Florida
- played in the 2019 All-American Bowl
- finished his senior season of high school with 74 total tackles (7.8 per game), five interceptions, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery
Ian Mathews | DL, 6-5, 290 | Columbus, Ga., Parcelli Catholic / Auburn
- spent the 2021 season at Auburn
- three-star recruit by Rivals; ESPN ranked him as the No. 63 defensive line and No. 45 Georgia prospect
- recorded an impressive 32.5 tackles, 18.5 TFL, seven sacks and two forced fumbles as a senior
Curtis Peagler | OL, 6-5, 340 | Demopolis, Ala., Demopolis
- three-star recruit listed as the No. 92 offensive lineman nationally and No. 74 recruit out of Alabama by 247Sports - 2021 Alabama 5A all-state selection as a senior
- named to the 2021 AHSAA North-South All-Star Game
Tyler Stephens | TE, 6-6, 229 | Braceville, Ohio, Labrae / Buffalo
- played in 15 games at Buffalo
- 64 receptions for 1,034 yards and 12 touchdowns as a senior
