Feddersen, Kovac Named to SEC Community Service Teams

COLUMBIA, Mo. – Junior Amy Feddersen and senior Danny Kovac were named to the SEC Community Service Teams for women's and men's swimming and diving, the Southeastern Conference announced on Tuesday.
Feddersen, an SEC silver medalist and All-American, volunteers weekly with Special Olympics swimming and with kids ministry at The Crossing Church. She has worked with local schools as a guest speaker at John Warner Middle School, as part of the SAAC pen pal program with Benton Elementary and with virtual announcements at Battle Elementary. Feddersen also has volunteered with Habitat for Humanity, Swim Across America and Columbia Foster and Adoption Project.
Kovac, an SEC Champion and nine-time All-American, volunteers with Special Olympics and Swim Across America. He has also workd with the local food bank, the box car derby and various trail clean-ups. Kovac has also fostered a dog.
