• Derrick Chievous led MU with 24 points, while Mike Sandbothe had a team-leading 15 boards.
TIGERS VERSUS SWAC
• Missouri has won all 22 meetings versus SWAC opposition with 21 of the 22 contests at home.
• The Tigers have defeated SWAC schools by an average of 32 points, 88.5 to 56.5.
• Only once has a game been decided by single digits – an 80-76 win over Jackson State in 1993.
STARTING 4-0
• The Tigers have started the season with four-straight wins – one of the few times the team has accomplished the feat as of late.
• Missouri is 4-0 for just the second time in the last nine seasons, having also reached the mark in 2020-21 with a 6-0 start.
1,000-POINT MILESTONE
• The Tigers have a number of players on the cusp of a milestone.
• Six Mizzou players are less than 200 points of 1,000 for their career – led by senior Nick Honor, who is just 17 points shy.
• In addition to Honor's 983 career points, Noah Carter (933), Tre Gomillion (905), DeAndre Gholston (844), Kobe Brown (849) and D'Moi Hodge (820) are all approaching the milestone.
HIGH-SCORING ATTACK
• The key to success so far for the Tigers has been a strong offensive start.
• Missouri ranks first in the SEC and 15th nationally with 94.0 points per game.
• In fact, Mizzou's 376 points are the second most for the team in its history through four games – second only to the 1974-75 campaign.
• MU's 105 points in Tuesday's win versus SIUE is the team's most in a single game since scoring 116 against Central Michigan on Dec. 18, 2010.
HIGH RANKS
• With its proficient start to the 2022-23 campaign, MU ranks among the best nationally on offense.
• The Tigers are 10th in the country in assists per game (21.5), 29th in field goal percentage (52.0), 34th in effective field goal percentage (59.4) and 45th in fastbreak points (17.0).
DEPTH IN NUMBERS
• Behind Mizzou's productive offense is a number of scoring weapons.
• Through just four games, eight different Tigers have scored in double figures already this year.
• Additionally, three different players have scored at least 20 points in a game this year (Kobe Brown vs. Southern Indiana; Noah Carter vs. Penn; D'Moi Hodge vs. SIUE).
• Mizzou is one of two teams in the SEC to feature that depth with Kentucky also having eight double-digit and three 20-point scorers.
DOMINATING INSIDE
• One of the biggest reasons for the high-scoring attack to start the season is a dominant game inside the arc.
• Through four games, the Tigers have outscored opponents a combined 188-96 in the paint (average of 47.0 to 24.0), which includes 3-of-4 games by at least 28 points.
• The Tigers have been very efficient inside the arc – ranking 11th nationally by making 63.7 percent of their 2-point attempts.
• Senior Kobe Brown has led the charge inside and has connected on 80.0 percent of his 2-point field goals (20-25).
