Mizzou Tennis Set to Host Mississippi State and Ole Miss

Mizzou vs. Mississippi State on Saturday, Mizzou vs. Ole Miss on Monday
COLUMBIA, Mo. – Mizzou Tennis opens its Southeastern Conference schedule this weekend, as the Tigers host Mississippi State on Saturday and Ole Miss on Monday. Due to travel difficulties, Saturday's match will start at 6 p.m. CT, while Monday's match is slated for Noon CT at the Mizzou Tennis Complex.
Last weekend, Mizzou fell to Memphis, 4-2, on Friday, Feb. 12, before defeating Iowa State, 4-1, on Sunday, Feb. 14. In the victory, Mizzou earned singles victories from junior Bronte Murgett (Holmfirth, Great Britain), senior Ellie Wright (Gainesville, Fla.) and senior Marta Oliveira (Lisbon, Portugal).
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, Mizzou will not be able to accommodate fans at home indoor matches for the 2021 season. This decision was based off the SEC's COVID-19 management requirements, as developed by the SEC's Return to Activity and Medical Guidance Task Force guidelines, which are available on SECsports.com.
