Mizzou Tennis Set to Host Memphis and Iowa State

COLUMBIA, Mo. – Mizzou Tennis will continue its spring season this weekend, as the Tigers host Memphis on Friday, Feb. 12 and Iowa State on Sunday, Feb. 14. Both matches are scheduled to start at 1 p.m. CT.

Mizzou swept a doubleheader over Illinois State last weekend to improve to 10-2 on the season, winning 4-0 and 4-1 on Sunday, Feb. 7. Senior Marta Oliveira (Lisbon, Portugal), sophomore Elys Ventura (Aukland, New Zealand) and freshman Valentina Vazquez Pongruber (Santiago, Chile) each picked up a pair of singles wins on the day for the Tigers.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, Mizzou will not be able to accommodate fans at home indoor matches for the 2021 season. This decision was based off the SEC's COVID-19 management requirements, as developed by the SEC's Return to Activity and Medical Guidance Task Force guidelines, which are available on SECsports.com.
