Mizzou Swim & Dive Takes Third at SMU Classic

DALLAS, Texas – The Mizzou men's and women's swimming and diving teams both took third place at the SMU Classic on Oct. 8-9.
The Mizzou men finished with 303 points, behind Michigan (336) and Louisville (325). The women's team finished with 284 points, behind Michigan (356) and Louisville (334).
Seniors Danny Kovac and Jack Dahlgren both took home individual wins for the Tigers. Kovac won both the 50 free and the 100 fly, while Dahlgren won the 100 free. Mizzou also won the men's and women's 200 free relays.
The Tigers notched 17 NCAA 'B' cuts over the two-day event. Kovac also set a meet record with his time of 45.77 in the 100 fly.
