82 Tigers from 18 programs recognized for academic success

COLUMBIA, Mo. – Mizzou Athletics placed 82 student-athletes on the 2019-20 First-Year Southeastern Conference Academic Honor Roll, announced Tuesday by SEC commissioner Greg Sankey.

The First-Year SEC Academic Honor Roll is based on grades from the 2019-20 academic calendar.

A total of 1,252 student-athletes were named to this year's list. The complete 2019-20 First-Year SEC Academic Honor Roll and its corresponding nomination criteria is available here.

Mizzou was represented by 18 programs in this year's First-Year SEC Academic Honor Roll. The Football program garnered the most recipients with 12 honorees, while five programs (Baseball, Women's Soccer, Softball, Women's Swim & Dive, Women's Track & Field), each tallied eight honorees.
