
Mizzou Tennis Hosts Wichita State, Old Dominion and Bradley This Week

Nash and Goldin enter the week ranked in doubles competition
COLUMBIA, Mo. – Mizzou Tennis will host three matches at the Mizzou Tennis Complex this week, beginning with a dual against Wichita State (4 p.m. CT) on Friday, Feb. 7, followed by a doubleheader on Sunday, Feb. 9 against Old Dominion (10 a.m. CT) and Bradley (3 p.m. CT). Mizzou (4-1) will look bounce back from its first loss of the season, a 5-2 loss to Kansas State on Feb. 2.
In doubles play, Mizzou will be led by the senior duo of Serena Nash (Bradford, England) and Gabrielle Goldin (Bradenton, Fla.), who just entered the ITA Doubles Tennis Rankings following their second ranked win of the season. The team defeated KSU's No. 54-ranked Margot Decker and Anna Turco, 6-3, on Feb. 2 to improve to 10-4 on the season.
Freshman Elys Ventura (Aukland, New Zealand) has been impressive in singles play early on in her career, as she enters the week on a five-match win streak and 6-1 mark overall. In her last time out, Ventura posted a 3-6, 6-2, 6-0 win over Kansas State's Ines Mesquita.
Wichita State enters Friday's match with a 1-4 record, while Old Dominion is 6-1 and Bradley is 2-2.
